The World Wide Web Freedom of Speech. A Custodian?

While reading Holocaust articles, I chanced upon this site. Well, I cannot specifically pin point whether it considers Holocaust Revisionism as promoting hate speech. Because if it is established that the site recognises Holocaust Revision as such (promoting hate speech) then the whole complexion into its (EFF) efficacy could be called into question or put in doubt.

Its co-founder's statement in "A Declaration of the Independence of Cyberspace" is indeed impressive.

Since it is long and has an expletive, I have linked it here.

I do not share his design of purpose 100% though,I find it too revolutionary

But the final para,

"We will create a civilization of the Mind (sic) in Cyberspace. May it be more humane and fair than the world your governments have made before"

is a decent pronouncement.

I look forward to an early GE13. The time is ripe, with the disarray in the most dominant PR partner, PKR, by their recently concluded party elections.

The allegations of impropriety in the PKR election has had a disturbing effect to its supporters, spilling over to solicit unkind words from one its most prominent personality in PR.

Moreover, there is more than a glimmer of hope among those who feel betrayed, marginalised or aggrieved, finding no compatibility with any BN component party, to become a direct BN member, a platform to be heard. More importantly, to be acted upon. There must be no kinks in this concept. Please, no fiasco like the PKR elections. Smooth and effective in its implementation, in tandem with preparations for the GE, it will contribute positively to BN.

I find this letter particularly relevant.

" It is time that we Indians, as a community, re-evaluate our support for PKR. Indian members of PKR should not be taken for granted. We should suspend our membership en-masse until the leadership of PKR make serious amends to earn our support. Being a direct member of BN, by-passing MIC, PPP, Gerakan and the likes, is always a viable alternative. The so-called "Third-Force" could be an option too, but it is an option we should carefully evaluate "

Lets not wait. BN must give them the avenue.

But snap elections is no easy matter. Jockeying for seats immediately come to mind. Solidarity and appeasing BN component parties requires deft but uncompromising leadership, in securing the most able to represent the Rakyat. This cannot be done in a haste.

I want GE13 ASAP, the iron is hot. It must be sooner rather than later but with careful deliberation and consideration.

Providence has given BN a chance to regain the Rakyats' trust. Do so it must.
