In The Name of the Father, Lim Guan Eng

In the name of the father, The Sundaily in a report today,
"Lim's special assistant Zairil Khir Johari lodged the report at the George Town district police headquarters today after Umno failed to retract and apologise for the articles on Lim's under-aged son, over an alleged wrong-doing since mid-October.
Maybe, as Chief Minister, he already has scheduled official appointments to attend. Can't help that, right?

When the Chief Minister gave 48 hours that in ultimatum on 27 October, as reported by the Malaysian Insider he is quoted,
"I wanted to put the matter to rest so as not to affect my young son He had skipped school for two days when the lies first surfaced. I had no wish for him to go through with this again or deal with police investigations which involves ninja character assassins operating behind shadowy pro-BN blogs" he said in a statement today.
Come on lah Mr Chief Minister.

A father who would dote on his son when,
"Denying the allegations, he explained that his son had requested a transfer to St Xavier’s Institution in Penang from SMK (C) Heng Yee as he did not want to have a “crew-cut” hairstyle as required in the latter school"
in a posting carried in your own Papa's blog, you remained mum on such a serious allegation, when the issue initially surfaced? Malaysiakini reported mum's the word, on the 17 Oct 2011.

In that same posting in your Papa's blog the next day 18 October, it must have been really unnerving for your son that,
“In the meantime, my wife and I will try to heal my young son and pray that he will recover from having his innocence so cruelly destroyed by these pro-Umno beasts,” he said.
In the name of the father on the 20 October so concerned was,
"DAP chairperson Karpal Singh has called on the police to act against bloggers accusing Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng's 16-year-old son of molesting his classmate."
because your son was traumatised. Yes, that was a Malaysiakini report.

In the name of the father, on the 24 October,
"DAP's publicity secretary Tony Pua said retractions and a public apology are in order from all websites and newspapers that are alleged to have defamed Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng and his teenage son."
It was reported also by Malaysiakini.

Keeping you promise to your son,
"Lim clarified that his son was transferred to the school of his choice after scoring at least 6As in his PMR, as had been promised to him."
without further ado, so posted Papa also. You were however not so forthcoming with the UMNO "beasts", maganimously giving them an additional 48 hours to comply before acting.

All in all, from this day to that, in the name of the father, a full 14 days for an aggrieved and much loved son.

In the name of the father, of the son, by the wholly most, the most-significant others.
