Tony Pua - Jack...of

First he was the Dotcom whizz kid.

Then, good ol 'Tompel' Tony "divested all my shares in the company to be able to serve the community and take part in socio-political affairs of Malaysia." and "Hopefully, after 2006, I have left the company in a much better financial state and the new management team will be able to take the company to greater heights."

Yes, honorable "Tompel" Tony kids you not, he really "left the company in a much better financial state",
Cyber Village Holdings Ltd Annual Report 2006

In forming our unqualified opinion, we draw attention to Note 2 to the financial statements, where it is stated that as at the financial year ended 31 December 2006, the Company's current liabilities exceeded its current assets by $498,221 and for the year the Group incurred a loss of $749,946. These factors indicate the existence of an uncertainty which may cast doubt as to whether the Group and the Company are able to continue as going concerns.

Certified Public Accountants
24 March 2007
That is why at this point in his "illustrious" career thus far, was appointed Economic Advisor to the DAP Secretary-General, Saudagar Lim Guan Eng.

Dotcom whizz, entrepreneur and now economic advisor.

Tompel Tony says there must be a "guardian angel looking after me all these while - my personal well-being, my education, my career. Some will call it "God's will", some "fate" while some others, "destiny", leaving behind his fortunes down south, taking his baggage up north, being elected MP into the cut and thrust world of politics.

In 2008 'Tompel' Tony, TT for brevity, took on newly appointed Finance Minister, Datuk Seri Najib on the Value Cap issue. The media statement makes all sorts of allegations. In sharp contrast with his Budget 2008 parliament proceeding remark on the matter, TT had already begun dramatics by that high-sounding media statement. Parliament 22 October 2008,
Note that TT made the statement in his capacity as DAP National Publicity Secretary.

Dotcom whizz, entrepreneur, economic advisor and now publicity chief. Tinker, tailor, soldier, sailor, rich man, poor man beggar man...on the first day of Christmas my true love came to me. Sorry folks, the asides came automatically to mind.

TT is also an educationalist. Yes, yes. Now I kid you not. TT the educationalist,
"I feel passionately about the education system in Malaysia and believe that given my background and experience, I would be able to provide fair comments on the education system."
I would have not known about this if TT had not been so highfaluting which elicited a response from hard hitting, take no prisoners blogger, satD.

Read Pure Shiite "Tony Tompel Lu sudah lupa apa lu bilang pasai itu Kambing?" here. Correct, that is also when and where Tony got his Tompel.

Following satD's link to the TT the educationalist, you will find TT's strong views on national integration,
"We live in a multi-racial country. It is my firm believe that for the country to succeed in its national integration goals, all ethnic groups must possess good understanding of each other in terms of culture, religion and common practices. Being Malaysians, national integration should be one of our key goals so that we are able to live in harmony with one another. I’d like my daughter to grow up with life-long friends of all races, not just to “stick” among our own racial group."
TT is consistent.

Recall his exploits with Makcik Nurul Izzah, of the "other" racial group, giving full support for the Govt's Kedai Rakyat 1Malaysia.

On the first day of Christmas tada-tada-tada, dotcom whizz, entrepreneur, economic advisor, publicity chief and now educationalist.

Sorry folks, couldn't help myself, festive season for me what.

Initially, giving full support for the Govt's Kedai Rakyat 1Malaysia, TT showed another talented profession, price checker.

TT must have found that position too mundane, less effective or as an afterthought in supporting Kedai Rakyat 1 Malaysia, now decided to trade price checking to become health inspector.

Dotcom whizz, entrepreneur, economic advisor, publicity chief, educationalist, price checker and health inspector.

As an M of P and in public interest, TT gives his hard earned two cents worth, in the spat between the other Tony because "I'm a huge admirer of Tony Fernandes, but I have no interest in working as hard as he does" and MAHB.

In doing so, complementing his entrepreneurial and economic skills, TT demonstates yet another talent, his prowess as soil specialist.

Dotcom whizz, entrepreneur, economic advisor, publicity chief, educationalist, price checker, health inspector and soil specialist.

There you have it folks, thats the reason for the title of this TT lating post.

No, it's not what you think it is.

It's "Tony Pua - Jackass of All Trades"

Recycled oil sold as new

PETALING JAYA: The cooking oil that you buy at a grocery store or a
supermarket near you in a 1kg packet may have been recycled.

Tests conducted on 19 brands of the “cheap” oil sold nationwide revealed
that repeated exposure to high temperatures had made it unfit for human
consumption, the Malaysian Association of Standards Users said.

Manufacturers are believed to have bought the oil used in restaurants
through middlemen and processed it for re-sale.

The association sent the samples for “polar compound testing” to
Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, which found all 19 brands falling short
of international standards, its CEO Ratna Devi Nadarajan told The Star.

Full story in print

Since TT is so keen to be a health inspector, he should visit every supermarket and sundry shop, if not across all Malaysia, then in Petaling Jaya North to check if they are selling this kind of cooking oil in plastic bags.

@Charles FM,

I am aware about cheap oil but only the wholesale commercial packs that our local restaurants use.

Your point is taken.

In fact since TT takes it upon himself to be DAP health inspector, I plead him to do the same exercise and make checks at Jusco, Tesco, Giant, Carrefour, Cold Storage Grocers, 7Elevens et al.

And make grand press statements right in front of these outlets.

Thanks CFM for raising the matter.
