"Don't repay PTPTN loans, urges Anwar" Ruse

After getting little or no support from the Pakatan Rakyat top brass to abolish the PTPTN, the desperado in the man comes out with a more dubious call.

This according to the most rabid anti-Government portal Malaysiakini, citing a Sin Chew Daily report, is the latest ruse attributed to the Pakatan Rakyat anointed Hobson's choice "Prime Minister", Brother Anwar Bin Ibrahim -
"No need to pay, let them sue if they want! However, you must pay other loans, no need for PTPTN"

This was Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim’s message to more than 10,000 people at a ceramah in his stronghold, Permatang Pauh, on Saturday night.

He claimed that, if the general election is called this year and Pakatan Rakyat conquers Putrajaya, the National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) would be abolished within the year

First this dastard was cause to the BERSIH riot by instigating the foolhardy to break the law, to breach of the barricades at Dataran Merdeka.

Now by his irresponsible false promise for the sole purpose of his selfish agenda, he is "educating" our younger generation to breach their contractual obligations.

It is pertinent to ask why Anwar would want to make that kind of desperate promise at a ceramah in his "stronghold", Permatang Pauh, and not at DAP ceramah. And I wonder whether any of the DAP upperlings were there?

You see, the DAP had not only supported PTPTN, which was introduced when Anwar was the Finance Minister, the DAP had even said that the sum allocated should be increased!

Next thing I will ask, as the Pakatan Rakyat anointed Prime Minister, will "PM" Anwar reimburse ALL PTPTN borrowers who had paid their loans in full. Search for and keep your PTPTN loan discharge letters just in case the unthinkable materialises.

When the unthinkable dematerialises, Anwar would not care of the consequence to those who foolishly swallow his latest ruse hook, line and sinker.

Most loans from the PTPTN are in excess of 30,000 ringgit. What this means is, if the borrower were to default on the loan, PTPTN would be within their rights to demand payment by legal means and the sum demanded would put the borrower in danger of being bankrupted.

Of course, the devilish Anwar would then be the rebel for another cause, wrenching a "cruel" government who has every right to recover loans that have defaulted.

I for one would not blame the government to exercise a right against those who deliberately default their legal and contractual obligations on account of willingly accommodating an irresponsible call.

Where forth art thou, BAR Council?

Parents beware of this evil man's trap.

Then again, Anwar would certainly have someone to recommend to defend defaulters who get into a legal situation on the matter.

Who better than a former prosecutor and solicitor-general II Datuk Mohd Yusof Zainal Abiden.

Blogger note:

Anwar mentions Turkey in almost everything as "prime" examples and also recall that Malaysian Spring of his?

Well here is a real Malaysian Spring, "Arab Spring Countries Could Look to Indonesia and Malaysia"

....and look at the relevant key areas,
"Malaysians are very satisfied with their national educational system: 90%* of the population are happy with local educational facilities and 94%* believe that children have the opportunity to learn and grow every day, placing Malaysia in the top 10"

Also, key areas in an inverse proportional view makes for some interesting deductions and arguments.

Overall, Malaysia engulfs both Turkey and Indonesia (another Anwar favorite country).

Malaysia ranks 43 in the 2011 Legatum Prosperity Index.
