Citizenchip and Other Things Nothing New

Datuk Rocky's latest posting "Now they claim that "Look East Policy" was not Dr Mahathir's idea" and provides an extensive article by a writer Ali Cordoba.

I append, "Look East Policy" and quote,
"The Look East Policy was launched in late 1981, at the beginning of Mahathir’s career as Prime Minister."
Anwar Ibrahim joined UMNO in 1982 and debuted as Culture, Youth and Sports Minister in 1983.

Well that was what Ali Cordoba claimed and where wild claims by Anwar Ibrahim is concerned it's nothing new.

As claims go, the biggest of all claims incontrovertibly attributed to Anwar Ibrahim is, that Pakatan Rakyat would be forming the government in light of BN's poor showing in the 2008 GE. That claim by Anwar is a misnomer, it was daylight fraud.

Tun Mahathir is also making headlines on claims of the Tun alluding to revocation of Madam BERSIH Ambiga's citizenship.

But Tun Mahathir is not the first to raise matters related to citizenship.

That dishonour goes to and you guessed it - Anwar, the DAP designated prime minister, Ibrahim.

And Anwar, the DAP designated prime minister, Ibrahim had questioned the citizenship of a certain community.

From what Lim Kit Siang protests, it must be related to the Chinese citizenry, "DAP deplores Anwar Ibrahim’s warning and threat to raise ‘citizenship’ question as unworthy of a Minister who should know what is the law and Constitution".

The ony thing DAP has learned thus far, after GE 2008, is being cocky .

But they have never learnt from their past knowledge of their designated PM,
"Anwar started his political career with the reputation of a liberal, but he nows seems to be the new advocate for repression and suffcation of dissent.

Is this the price Anwar must pay so that he could make his bid for the future Prime Ministership in the country?" - Parliamentary Opposition Leader, DAP Secretary-General and MP for Kota Melaka, Lim Kit Siang, in Petaling Jaya, 21st April 1986
Lim Kit Siang and others in and out of the DAP be forewarned. Wasn't it foretold?

Being "liberal" is the price Anwar Ibrahim will pay, for the moment, to be the future PM. As prime minister, Anwar Ibrahim will then repress and suffocate you and all your secular colleagues to death, as he has shown in the past.

And that is the very least of your worries should the unthinkable happens.

That goes for you too, Madam BERSIH Ambiga.
