All PSYched up over Jackie Chan

The rabid opposition supporters that is.

I have been inundated with quite a bit of chain e-mails and SMS text messages from friends, known to be opposition supporters, regarding the recent Jackie Chan graced fund raiser in Kuantan.

Of course, most of it uncomplimentary as would be expected and for good measure linking Korean superstar, PSY, in the process.

These opposition types have turned into everyday hulks. Yes indeed, into green-eyed monsters. Green with envy at Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib's star attracting events.

Recall, gangnam style inventor, PSY's appearing for Barisan Nasional in Penang.

In the run up to the occasion, that undemocratic Penang chief minister and DAP secretary-general, Lim Guan Eng, contrived to be a spoiler and party pooper. It is in the psyche of Pakatan Rakyat leaders to politicise everything our PM does and in this case a Chinese New Year open house.

But, in this case, it must be the jealousy factor. Lim Guan Eng cannot be seen to be critical to a Malaysian culture of having open houses, especially for the benefit of the Chinese populace celebrating the lunar new year.

In the same breath, it came as no surprise that the islamist party and Pakatan Rakyat partner, PAS, was against the Psy show at Barisan Chinese New Year open house in Penang

All this envy among the opposition faithful must be turning to angst when Jackie Chan gave our prime minister a a most welcome helping hand. With the presence of the Hong Kong superstar, Jackie Chan, an astounding 3 million ringgit (US$958,000) was raised from the auction of two Richard Mille watches and a painting during SM Chong Hwa's fund-raising dinner and concert.

As in everything opposition, the heavy opposition leaning news portal, Malaysiakini would only quote Bernama grudgingly but with a heavy spin of a headline, "Najib ropes in Jackie Chan to woo Kuantan Chinese".

No one in the Pakatan Rakyat especially the DAP and even their most ardent supporting online news portals could come out to be critical of PM Datuk Seri Najib and the event itself. Not even PAS. It was for a worthy cause and it was for Chinese education.

PAS is well known for its anti-entertainment stance. PAS will always find something un-Islamic when it comes to entertainment. Not so with Jackie Chan.

Entertainment, popular music and movies, like sports cut across all barriers of nationalities and race. PSY and Jackie Chan popular entertainers, as a dancer/musician and action actor respectively, have a huge following globally and among Malaysians.

The opposition cannot be blamed, I must admit, accusing our PM and BN for using star power to increase it's popularity. However, if its for worthy causes, no one can find fault in that. After all, PAS too has its admirers among entertainers.

One that springs to mind is actor, politically correct descriptively but maybe not for PAS, Abby Abadi. The actor is an avowed PAS supporter but sad to say she is no superstar when compared to PSY and JC.

In fact in the local entertainment field, she is small potatoes. So, PSY and JC gracing BN events must be driving, the moderate and even extreme. PAS leaders into frenzy state of envy.

The small potato PAS supporting actor, dear Abby, is just like the movie term "dumb blonde".

Go figure "Abby Abadi: Muslim artistes will work only after Pakatan takes power".

Now you know why PAS is really green, not only with envy.

Lim Kit Siang Johore Gambit - BN Must Attack

(continuing from my previous post, The Lim Kit Siang Oddyssey - Its Not Johore)

Now, the opposition did not win Penang, or rather the DAP did not win Penang. BN lost it. At the height of widespread displeasure with the federal government of the day and other contributing factors.

It is the reverse now. There is growing displeasure with Lim Guan Eng, the state government and the opposition pact in Penang -

Displeasure at the DAP that can only have a positive impetus for a shift back to Barisan Nasional.

But DAP national elections fiasco has had the most devastating affect for the DAP in more ways than one. The election results saw non-Chinese members, especially the Malay members being completely sidelined and by Indian members being underrepresented.

Worst still, the DAP party elections confirmed, what many has always maintained, the DAP is a Chinese chauvinist party. Even the Human Rights Party has called the Penang CM a racist.

Digressing, the DAP cannot even manage its own party elections yet criticises and condemns the Election Commission at every turn.

I won't even bother to mention their numerous false promises but I will mention one.

While the BN government given us BR1M, ask Lim Guan Eng whether DAP has delivered on its promise to Penangites a "bonus of up to Rm6,000 for those with household income of rm6,000 or less per annum" as stated in their 2008 election manifesto.

It must indeed be desperate times for the DAP and Lim Guan Eng to endorse the self-confessing would be Lynas arsonist as candidate on a DAP ticket, another diversion IMHO.

As the saying goes - the best form of defence is to attack.

If, I say if, the DAP "assault" in Johore is a real political exercise to reach Putrajaya and while the BN is well prepared to defend an intrusion, it better for the BN to attack.

Those of my generation will recall an old opposition election gimmick, when thy never had any chance - vote BN for federal government, opposition for state.

It will be no gimmick for the BN, if the DAP is intent on making a foray into Johore for federal seats, then BN must make a concerted attack for Penang state seats.

All BN component parties must pool all its resources to concentrate and attack the DAP in the state seats.

That would put whatever machinations the DAP has in their real intention, not Putrajaya but retaining Penang, into disarray.

An attack on Penang will hurt the DAP most.

As I said before, BN retaking Penang is not impossible.

In conclusion, I will submit, Lim Kit Siang is will do anything for his son, Lim Guan Eng. Lim Kit Siang is willing to be a sacrificial lamb for his son, to remain chief minister of Penang.

The Lim Kit Siang Oddyssey - Its Not Johore

The much hyped DAP bid to make a toehold in Johore is a red herring, a diversion, away from the more important state which the DAP must retain at all costs - Penang.

It will be an election battle royale for both the state and parliament seats in Penang and though it will be uphill for BN to unseat the DAP in Penang, it is not impossible.

The DAP led by the Penang CM, Lim Guan Eng, cannot be overconfident that it will retain the state. Even though overconfidence is an attribute synonymous with being cocky and arrogant, a Lim Guan Eng trait, the DAP election machinery will surely not be having such sentiments.

Recall the circumstances Penang CM Lim became to be infamously known as Tokong Lim.

It is more important and pertinent to recall why the Penang chief minister had been labelled a deity and "Mansor, who is deputy chief minister I, said he was aware of the leak and expressed his disappointment that it has been published verbatim in an obscure blog."

In a leaked minutes which the PKR Penang Deputy CM Datuk Mansor is heard lamenting Lim Guan Eng was muscling in to secure more seats for DAP at the expense of PKR.
On whether the DAP has requested any seats from PKR, Mansor is quoted as saying he would not budge on that. He said PKR's Chinese candidates are seen as a "threat" to the DAP.

He (Guan Eng) is very arrogant, I tell you... cocky and arrogant. It is not easy. Now more arrogant," Mansor says about the DAP secretary-general.

They (the DAP) are sure of winning 19 (seats) and they want more. Because with two more (seats) they can form their own government and they can take from us (PKR reps) to be on their side and (then) abandon us (PKR)".
It would be, to borrow a phrase, an unmitigated disaster for the DAP if it were to lose Penang - its base, bank and springboard for future Chinese votes in the other Chinese dominated urban areas throughout the country. Prime motivation for Lim Guan Eng to wrest seats from their own partner to consolidate an outright DAP rule in Penang.

The DAP does not really care for any other state, then and now, held by their opposition partners. The reason is simple, Selangor is PKR, Kedah and Kelantan is PAS and even Perak albeit briefly was a PAS led state government. Although exerting much influence, DAP does not have an outright rule in these state governments and DAP cannot be so sure results in the next GE will go the PR way.

DAP's hopes truly lies, pun intended, in Penang.

It does not make any sense in this instance, for the DAP in general and the Pakatan Rakyat in particular, as a stategy to form the next federal government, initiating a daunting task against a proven and more formidable Johore rather than extending gains in the other states like Selangor, Perak or even Negri Sembilan.

Knowing that penetrating Johore is far more difficult a task than BN retaking Penang, DAP is contriving a political psy-war to shift the BN's attention away from the island state to focus on the southern state.

Starting with that silly little man and MP for Bukit Bendera, Liew Chin Tong, coming out with his pathetic and "hopeful" calculations for opposition victory in Johore coupled with he Boo Cheng Hau and Jimmy Chua sideshow. Why create a situation that would have a serious and damaging effect in their quest for Putrajaya, if it were true ie?

For more evidence, why was it Liew Chin Tong the so called DAP election strategist who came out with amatuerish predictions when they do have the new DAP recruit, political analyst Ong Kian Ming, to provide more credible calculations? Clearly its all a sham.

A few more herrings were dropped along the way with speculation that the silly MP would be primed for Johore.

When the Liew Chin Tong and Boo Cheng Hau ruse, other than having a negative impact for the opposition pact, failed to raise the desired attention, it was time for a big gun to make the ploy - threat of an opposition political assault on Johore, more credible.

Enter the father of all big guns, the patriach of DAP himself, Lim Kit Siang.

PI Bala - PII Americk Singh Sidhu

Go find it yourself, Americk Singh Sidhu has claimed, quoting an online news portal,
"(Cecil) Abraham apologised to him over the drafting of SD2 and admitted that it was done on the instruction of Najib. Americk said he had promised Abraham to keep the information between themselves, but he opted to reveal it today after considering the late Balasubramaniam’s quest for justice."
Breaking a promise for justice, how noble indeed.

Do I trust Messr Americk? You be the judge.

Malaysikini , "The truth about Bala's first statutory declaration", Americk Sidhu 15 March 2013,
"Valen had met Bala two years earlier, when Valen was engaged to represent Razak Baginda (before Razak was arrested). Bala and Razak were actually in Valen’s office at 7.30am the day Razak was arrested.

As Bala related the unfolding of events to me, I recorded everything in long hand, pausing every so often to cross-examine’ Bala on certain points to ensure his memory was indeed vivid and that there was no embellishment of anything he was narrating to me.

Bala cross-checked each detail by reference to the archives he had stored in his lap top, which was always kept open before him throughout the entire interviews"
From the annals of history, after much cross-examining to ensure PI Bala's memory was vivid and after Bala had cross checked each detail, the PI Bala Americk prepared Statutory Declaration Item 51 courtesy of anwaribrahimblog,
51. On the day Abdul Razak Baginda was arrested, I was with him at his lawyers office at 6.30 a.m.
So what? Those of you on the other side will say. Okay.

Here's more "truth about Bala's first",
"As the restaurant we were in was closing, we decided to adjourn to the Backyard pub down the road to continue our conversation. This is when fellow lawyer R Sivarasa turned up and joined us. The discussion continued.

Sivarasa felt Bala’s story ought to be documented in a statutory declaration as the Altantuya murder trial was still ongoing at that stage"
Well, here is a more vivid recollection of Americk Singh Sidhu at the time, the day PI Bala made the U-turn, to be precise.

From the anal of time in non other than Anwar Ibrahim's blogpost, "Thank you for joining the live webcast of the press conference. KeADILan Vice President Sivarasa Rasiah (MP for Subang) and lawyer for P. Balasubramaniam, Americk Sidhu’s statements are below,"
— PRESS STATEMENT FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE BY AMERICK SINGH SIDHU — 4 July 2008, Petaling Jaya, Malaysia - "I first met Mr. Bala in the presence of a few other persons in a restaurant about two months ago where he asked me to assist with preparing a formal document incorporating some evidence that had not been presented in the ongoing Altantuya trial."

Fast forward after the above, also from the anal of time from Anwar Ibrahim's blogpost 25 November 2009,"Lawyer: Najib ‘Linked’ To Bala’s Disappearance", click on pic.

Even if you don't want to listen, listen, listen. Surely you can see, see, see.

Sivarasa, Americk, Anwar et al. Please excuse me for the expletive, I don't trust these fuckers.

The Malaysian Insider Spyware Spy Where?

Can You See It, Researchers say...I SPY WITH MY LITTLE EYE was the first to highlight a subject of spyware supposedly used for covert activities.

Syabas to Tony Yew.

The Malaysian Insider had exploited and took it upon itself to report with a highly derisory headline to exclaim and accuse "Malaysia uses spyware against own citizens, NYT reports".

Without any basis and covering their asses with "NYT reports".

It immediately elicited a response from MCMC as reported in The Mole quoting Bernama, "MCMC investigates The Malaysian Insider for spyware reports" and rightly so.

The Malaysian Insider should get its act together and readers of TMI are advised to treat their reports with caution as to the veracity of their reports especially from reporter Boo Su Lyn.

That The Malaysian Insider has been criticised for lacking in crediblity has been frequently commented by many including yours truly.

Sensationalising to attract and boost readership is one thing, fair and accurate reporting is another.

I won't speculate on how TMI financially exists other than relying on advertisers and readership is a vital factor to determine that part for its income. Maybe TMI like its more established anti-establishment and pro-opposition counterpart, Malaysiakini, should introduce subscription based reading format to boost its income.

If it were to do so, I will bet with anyone TMI would fold up earlier than the expected election date. Then again, Malaysiakini has other fundings from George Soros linked institutions to finance its various operations.

Coming back to the subject at hand and following this link from The Mole report led me to this website by the owner's comment in the Citizen Lab report.

The site's latest post, aptly titled "Malaysian government using spyware against citizens? No, not really", is the most technically comprehensive with backing facts to rebut TMI but also takes a dig at reporter Booo. And by extension Lim Kit Siang for carrying the TMI report.

Here are the facts as extracted from "Malaysian government using spyware against citizens? No, not really",
Facts About FinFisher & FinSpy in Malaysia

Fact 1: Citizen Lab reported that they found 33 servers in 25 countries.

Fact 2: By their own admission they admit the list is possibly incomplete “due to the large diversity of ports used by FinSpy servers, as well as other efforts at concealment”

Fact 3: Citizen Labs goes on to clearly disclaim that “ a discovery of a FinSpy command and control server in a given country is not a sufficient indicator to conclude the use of FinFisher by that country’s law enforcement or intelligence agencies. In some cases, servers were found running on facilities provided by commercial hosting providers that could have been purchased by actors from any country”

Fact 4: The initial NYT report that found the first 10 servers–found them hosted on Amazon EC2 instances. Instances even I can procure with a credit card.

Fact 5: The Malaysian IP (though not published in full) belongs to a company called GPL host.

Fact 6: GPL Host has a partnership with TM in Malaysia for their hosting (which explains the Malaysian IP).

Fact 7: Eight FinSpy servers out of the 33 found were hosted by GPL Host. Only one of these servers was from Malaysia

Fact 8: The Malaysian IP is in the 117.121.240.X range. The other 7 FinSpy servers exist in nearby ranges, and are hosted in the US, Singapore and Australia. All of the servers in the 117.121.X.X range are hosted by GPLHost.

Fact 9: GPL Host is a Hosting company, which means anyone with a credit card can procure a server within their IP range for use. (which includes their Malaysian IP range).

Fact 10: Just to reiterate, Citizen Lab (who’ve done extensive research here) claim “in some cases, servers were found running on facilities provided by commercial hosting providers that could be purchased by actors from any country“. These include commercial hosting providers just like GPLHost.
The Malaysian Insider shames Malaysia, not by that particular and other Malaysia bashing report.

It shames Malaysia, being a Malaysian outfit, by not having an iota of crediblity coupled with wild irresponsible reporting.

But that is the stock in trade of The Malaysian Insider and Malaysiakini, unabashed Malaysia bashing, more as a means for financial resource rather than sensible and accurate reporting.

Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue

Have been out of commission for awhile so much so writer's block seem to have afflicted me. Putting food on the table has been tough the past month. Perusing the online news and blogs is no longer a luxury as before.

But I am not going to bitch and complain.

A helpless and guilty feeling lingered all this while given my present circumstance, the feeling of not contributing to what we all hold dear - support for the only government we have ever known that has taken us where we are today.

The opposition can never take that away from the ruling party and they will never give credit, no way no how, for the ruling party's achievements at home, admired abroad.

And BN is poised to take us even to further heights in every avenue for a more peaceful, harmonious and prosperous nation. Trademarks of this our country, Malaysia.

If anything, the opposition has done everything to dismantle the most important contributing factor for those trademarks, unity. They thrive only by disuniting us.

Taking a peek at the goings on, especially on the other side, anyone can see the benefit in PM Datuk Seri Najib prolonging time for the ultimate 13th GE.

The longer it takes, the more the discreditable opposition pact crumbles. Crumbling under the weight of hypocrisy, inept deceit and dysfunction.

Take for example, something old, Sodomy.

Sodomy II, in my opinion by some contrived means, intends to take us to a different perspective of that con artist extraordinaire, Anwar Ibrahim.

The father, of the victim who reported being sodomised by Anwar Ibrahim, has apologised to the alleged perpetrator. I mean, here is a perpetrator sentenced to be jailed and then freed of sodomy by the highest court in the land. But in freeing the perpetrator, the highest court in the land, still held this perpetrator to be a sodomite, a homosexual sodomite.

What type of father is this? The jury is out on whether the father did the right thing depending on which side, of Anwar Ibrahim id est, one is at.

Imagine this, "Datuk Seri, I apologise for all the grief you have gone through by my son's unfounded allegation of being rear-ended by your good self, even though my son has sworn on the Koran this as a fact. Even though you as a father yourself, as a matter of fact been certified 99.99% and caught on video, to be philandering with a China doll."

But as in all things Anwar Ibrahim, the father has not apologised for being a PKR sycophant. Just like that suspended economist and his dastardly deed.

This intention to take us to a different perspective of Anwar Ibrahim is thwarted.

Thwarted by something new, a revelation and "The real story of Anwar’s Sodomy II",
"There were traces of Anwar’s DNA in his (Saiful's) rectum"
And for good measure, what we all know, no need to say we told you so and so and so,
"Anwar is a consummate liar. He is using Saiful’s dad to play up his victim role in order to garner votes. We all know for a fact that since he got acquitted he has lost that bit of “charm” about him as he has nothing to yell about anymore. I really hope he sues me so that I can prove in Court what I have just mentioned" - Yuktes Vijay, a former Anwarista, worked in Anwar’s Sodomy 2 trial for the defence
There is also, of course, the usual suspects and vermins coming out of the woodwork.

Coming out of the woodwork, borrowing.

Borrowing from Raja Petra Kamarudin, a deceitful weapon of choice, statutory declarations or SDs.

What is there to say about that PI fellow who is, as RPK himself stops short of saying, a liar and possible accomplice to murder of a Mongolian woman? With the desperate carpetbagger thrown into the mix.

And speaking of borrowing, I could not believe my eyeballs, the would be Lynas arsonist borrowing, and those Chinese chauvinists allowing, a rocket for his fiery ends.

So, if prolonging elections is giving the opposition, with their pact of lies and deceit, the blues, here is why.

Here is why and something blue.

And that is also why I'm feeling blue but not minding the wait.

Talking about blues and the best that he can do.

Videos, Sex Video and RCIs

One of my komuter mates alerted me to a video parodying citizenship for foreigners to vote BN. By the way, my mate is from the other side of the political fence but a decent chap and not the rabid type.

Anyway, he texted the link here and its certainly makes for some comic relief. The massage of the video - "conspiracy" to bolster votes for BN.

I must credit the maker of the video clip, the concept requiring cheap talent for a low budget clip.

By the way speaking of videos, videos are legally speaking mere hearsay unless undisputedly corroborated in a court of law. Its the same with SDs.

SD ala RPK, SD ala Bala.

And speaking of conspiracies and SDs, these are standard opposition procedures, SOPs of the opposition as it were and more so now.

You see, these SOPs of "alleged" conspiracies and preposterous statutory declarations, are trademarks closely connected to the, yes he is, no he isn't or maybe the opposition designated PM, Anwar Ibrahim.

This spoofy "citizenship for BN vote" video, there is no guarantee and way of knowing they will vote BN any way, is evidently nothing more than a futile stunt to discredit the ruling BN and as mentioned earlier, unproven hearsay. Manufactured at that.

But that on again, off again opposition designated PM Anwar Ibrahim has the dubious distinction of having a starring role in a explicitly sexual video with a China doll, in Oscar winning "The Artist" black and white style, is no hearsay.

This video is no stunt with the opposition PM designate in all his glory, doing his own over the top stunts, certified 99.99% as the main actor in a court of law.

Coming back to the cheap lampooning video clip, it is obviously timed to exploit the ongoing RCI in Sabah. An RCI clamoured by the opposition not unlike the opposition demanded Lingam video RCI.

Strangely but not surprisingly, the sexploits of Anwar Inbrahim, did not elicit any such demand from the opposition for an RCI as to the authenticity of the sex tape.

And that says it all.
